Flint Hill Goods Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2022 Nissan Murano- Video
Hi, everyone, Aidan here at etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at this Flint Hill Goods Hitch-Mounted Cargo Carrier and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2022 Nissan Murano. Now, it's gonna be a bit more of a unique hitch-mounted carrier, because it's sort of like a tray, very short sidewalls, but still a good amount of workable space on all the sides here. Now, there are gonna be some sidewalls, so inside dimensions front to back is gonna be 21 inches, and from side to side here, we're gonna be working with 48 inches. So with those sidewalls, you can use them to box some things in, but if you've got maybe some duffle bags, some softer items that need to overhang just a little bit, I think you'll be able to with this, so long as it's properly strapped down. For strapping things down, you can go around any of these main slats, or there's gonna be four holes in each of the corners where you can maybe get an S-hook run to or maybe a bungee. more

Hi, everyone, Aidan here at etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Flint Hill Goods Hitch-Mounted Cargo Carrier and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2022 Nissan Murano. Now, this is gonna be the larger option available from Flint Hill Goods. Coming in at 20 1/2 inches deep, and as far as the width goes, 50, or sorry, 58 1/4 of an inch wide, it's gonna be more than large enough to carry all the stuff you might need when you're going on a trip or maybe going to the hardware store, picking some things up. And a hitch-mounted basket like this is a great way to do things like that, because it's got a high weight capacity of 500 pounds. And if you have anything out here that's messy, like bags of mulch, dirt, concrete from the hardware store that tend to make a mess inside the vehicle, that mess out here is a lot easier to clean. more

Now this is gonna be a solid option if you find yourself going camping and maybe need a haul a small generator, or maybe a cooler that kind of fits in here very nicely. Or if you're maybe you're going to the hardware store and you're getting some mulch or concrete any bags that kind of seep outta the bag, anything that kind of seeps out of your bags you don't want getting in your vehicle, it's gonna be a solid choice to keep that stuff out. Now, as for carrying capacity it's gonna be able to withstand 400 pounds. And even with me in it, me being 240 pounds, it still feels pretty sturdy. more

Hey, everyone, it's Evangeline right here at etrailer. And today, we have the Flint Hill Goods Aluminum Cargo Carrier that's 60 inches by 22 inches, and we'll take a look at how it fits our 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan. So right off the bat, if you need a lot of cargo space, but you don't wanna have to deal with a lot of weight, this is gonna be a great cargo carrier for that. This is gonna be one of our larger aluminum cargo carriers, so with you having all that space, because it's made of aluminum, it's also lighter and easier to install. But depending on how you install it though, it might be a little tricky, because the Dodge Grand Caravan has a bumper that sticks out over here, so you're gonna have to like reach around the carrier to get into place and make sure that all that is tightened down. So that is something to be mindful of. more

CURT Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2020 Chevrolet Equinox- Video
Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today we have the CURT steel folding cargo carrier, and we're gonna take a look at how it fits on our 2020 Chevrolet Equinox. So a lot of people like the folding cargo carrier because since this carrier is made of steel people don't wanna take it off and on of their vehicle more often than they have to. So because it folds up, they can keep it on their car and they don't take up much space as if it was folded down. Now the downsides to this though is if you can see how it fits here on our Equinox, you can see that it takes up a good amount of width, but definitely the height. So if I wanted to open up our hatch here, I would not be able to. more

This is gonna be a great way to carry some extra stuff with you if you don't have room inside your Santa Fe or if you're carrying things that you don't wanna put inside, maybe they're messy, maybe they're heavy. Things like bags of concrete and dirt or mulch from the hardware store, camping equipment, sports equipment, all that stuff can make a mess, and if you bring it inside the vehicle, it's a lot harder to clean that mess, whereas outside, you can load up maybe a little bit extra, and it's easy to clean off just by spraying it down with a hose. Now, because this is made primarily of aluminum, it's gonna keep things very lightweight, easy to get in and out of a hitch, or hang up for storage on the wall in your garage or something like that. And the short sidewalls make sure it doesn't take up as much space either, but it is still gonna be very capable. more

This is going to be an aluminum carrier making it really lightweight and easy to load into your hitch and giving you away to carry extra stuff if you don't have enough space in the back of your Santa Fe or if you're carrying things that you don't want to put inside the vehicle at all. Camping equipment, things from the hardware store that maybe bring in a mess to your vehicle normally, you can keep that mess outside and easily clean it off with a hose when you're done. Now this carrier, although it is aluminum, can support up to 500 pounds of weight evenly distributed around, so it's certainly capable. The aluminum slats on the bottom are thick and able to accommodate wrapping straps around there. more

This is gonna be a hitch mounted carrier that is made of aluminum, keeping it very lightweight and easy to get in and out of your hitch or maybe hang up on the wall of your garage. Coming in at only a little above 20 pounds, but still capable of carrying up to 500 pounds. So pretty impressive capabilities. It's got these long, wide slats for putting all of your stuff on, which leaves the bottom mainly open for any sort of dirt and debris to fall through. more

Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today I have the Let's Go Aero Gear Deck 17 cubic feet enclosed cargo carrier, and we'll take a look at how it fits our 2022 Jeep Wagoneer. So the Let's Go Aero Gear deck is going to be a box that fits onto your hitch receiver. It allows you to carry a lot of stuff. In fact, it has a 500 pound weight capacity, which is a bit more than most of your other enclosed cargo boxes. Let's Go Aero also has even larger boxes like the gear space or their black boxes. I personally think this is a pretty balanced size for your Wagoneers though, because the larger ones I would see more on motor homes than the Wagoneers. more

Now, to make something like this work, you're gonna need a hitch. You can have a class one, two or three hitch, doesn't matter. This will work with two inch and inch and a quarter hitches. Now this is gonna be a hitch-mounted carrier, and if you're familiar with rooftop boxes, this may look pretty similar. The construction is gonna be a hard shell plastic much similar to a rooftop box, but the benefit of this is that it's gonna be easier to reach by installing it in the hitch, and you're gonna get the same benefits of that roof storage where it's enclosed from the elements and lockable. Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today we have the Lets Go Aero GearDeck 17 Enclosed Cargo Carrier. This is gonna be a hitch mounted cargo box and we'll take a look at how it fits our 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee. So right off the bat, if you need more cargo space, you want make sure that your cargo is covered and protected, this is gonna be one of the ways you can do that. Now, some of the features here is that instead of tilting away for more access to your hatch, this one actually slides out. So there's a pin here at the end where you just rotate that pin in order to release the slide out arms. It's an anti-rattle bolt, so it will also take a little bit of time before we come out, but once it does, I just hold the box by its handle, lift out and wait. more

Anything messy, things like bag of concrete, mulch, dirt, that's great to put out here, because if it tears, it doesn't make a mess inside your vehicle, this is a lot easier to clean off, most of it's probably gonna fall through the bars, but any dirt and debris left behind can just be hosed off. Hi everyone, Aidan here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Flint Hill Goods aluminum hitch mounted cargo carrier and seeing how it fits in the back of our 2020 Jeep Cherokee. A cargo carrier, especially a hitch mounted one is a great way to get some extra stuff with you maybe on a road trip or maybe just to and from the hardware store. I always recommend these for things like bags of concrete, mulch, dirt, anything that tends to rip and maybe cause a mess inside your vehicle. These are more than capable of handling some heavy weight and with the open design, any dirt and debris will fall through it and anything that doesn't can easily get hosed off because it's aluminum you don't have to worry about rust and corrosion over time, it's gonna be very weather resistant while still maintaining a nice 500 pound weight capacity which should hold up very well for a long time. There's plenty of points for tie downs here. more

But essentially, if you are looking for a lightweight and easy solution for you to get a little bit more storage out of your vehicle, you have some decent storage in the trunk but maybe you want some more storage for a longer trip or just a way to get some larger, messier items from a hardware store, grocery store, anything like that, this is gonna be a good option for you. The carrier is made of aluminum, which is how it stays so lightweight, but it is capable of supporting up to 500 pounds. So it's made of aluminum, it's super lightweight, but it's still able to support up to 500 pounds, which is pretty much the standard for your hitch cargo carriers of its size. Now this is going to be a good way to just get some extra stuff with you on your trip, whether you don't have room inside for it and you need to get some extra stuff outside, or there's maybe just some messy stuff that we don't want to get inside our vehicle. It's a lot easier to clean up the mess out here by just spraying this off with a hose. It's gonna be a steel construction with this mesh bottom and it can support up to 500 pounds. more
